This camera is ideal for outdoor adventures involving water, sand, and rough use: swimming, snorkeling, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, etc.The camera is super rugged and has a scratch and sunscreen-resistant lens. The rubberized grip makes it easy to handle, and the shock resistant frame provides great protection. It’s the ideal camera even for the most extreme outdoor activity! If you don’t want to risk damaging your regular camera by exposing it to the above elements, use a Water & Sport One-Time-Use Camera to get great pictures (and keep your regular camera safe).Imagine the pictures you can take! more info

Excellent quality, and provides vital insurance if you will be near water.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak Water & Sport camera provides excellent results both in and out of the water. It performs comparably to the Kodak HQ Max Versatility camera; it produces a high-quality image in most situations.
There is no flash on the camera (though using a flash underwater can produce unpredictable and sometimes undesirable effects), so do not plan on using it in low-light situations.
Film does not like to get wet, and accidentally dropping your camera in water could mean that all the pictures you just took are lost forever. So even if you don’t plan on taking your camera physically underwater on your family boating expedition, you might still want to consider purchasing a Water & Sport camera as insurance against “splash damage”.
If you need a flash, or if you plan to take pictures at depths greater than 50 feet, you’ll need to consider a professional underwater camera or camera housing.
Not bad

You can’t beat the $price! I just used it when I went snorkeling at the Bahamas. The pictures turned out deceit for an underwater camera. The only problem I found was pressing the ‘shoot’ button. It was quite awkward. Besides that-Great.
Do not buy this to take underwater pics

I bought this camera and it took great pictures above water, but none of the pictures I took underwater turned out. I looked at the negatives and it was like I never even clicked the shutter. The negatives were blank where I took the underwater pictures.
Fun for Water in the Sun Shots
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My friends and I took a trip to the Oregon Coast last weekend or some boogie boarding and wouldn’t you know it, half way there I realized I left my camera at home! We pulled into a mini mart and I picked up this great little single use camera.
This little Kodak camera worked out so much better than my digital would have anyway – seeing as I wouldn’t have dared bring the digital INTO the water! The pictures came out crisp and full of color, it was fun to use and to take underwater pictures of friends, and to top it off it was super cheap! This is actually my first experience with a single use camera where the photos came out good (it’s been a long time since I’ve used one and those pictures came out all grainy.)
Others mentioned the lack of flash as a downfall, but for daytime use it worked like a gem. I’d recommend this camera to anyone who wants to take some water shots in the sun. For that use, this a five star item!
Piece Of Junk
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Made the mistake of taking this camera on a trip to the pool!!Pictures were horrible. Eye Piece is the biggest pain!! DON’T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK. If you want GREAT, GOOD, WONDERFUL pictures, buy the Fuji Quicksnap camera. Kodak could have done MUCH, MUCH better.
Go for the Fuji
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I tried several cameras on a recent dive trip, including a Kodak and a Fuji disposable waterproof camera.
Neither camera has a flash, which means that everything will come out in shades of blue under water unless you bring your own light.
Neither camera leaked, which gave them an edge over more expensive “professional” cameras on this trip.
Both the Kodak and Fuji look very similar with a sealed plastic case (with slight positive buoyancy) and thick rubberbands for securing to a wrist or clipping to a BCD.
I have to give the edge to the Fuji in terms of both design and results. The Fuji was easier to wind and to snap shots with and the pictures came out sharper. The 800 film in the Kodak produced shots that were way too grainy.
Excellent Camera
I would not have taken my regular camera to the water park and I was able to get wonderful shots of the family without the stress of “taking care of the camera”. I am very pleased and impressed. I took an underwater shot that was a bit blue-ish because of the cloudy water and lack of flash BUT still very cool shot.

I love this camera!! We went to Raging Waters and I picked up a 2-pack from Sams Club for about $18.00. The pictures were gorgeous! The colors brilliant and images crisp and clear. I could not believe it
Much better photos than expected
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Nice camera and it takes great photos but it bugs me to buy disposable cameras when non-disposables aren’t much more expensive. So why did I buy it? Because I left my non-disposable at home when we went on vacation! Not a bad little camera, though.
Good camera for the price

I just used this camera for a dive in Mexico (my second dive, first attempt at underwater photo).
Although the camera has no flash, it worked perfectly fine at depths up to 12 meters. I guess the lack of flash can be a problem for some other locations or if outside is not a sunny day, but at least for Cancun this camera did the job perfectly.
The wheel that turns the film does a specific noise when the film is correctly positioned and ready for a new shot; this noise is different from when there are no more positions on camera, and the wheel turns continuously – so if you pay attention you’ll know when the film is over, even if the position indicator may still show 1 or 2.
Yes, the pictures are grainy (I think it uses ISO800 film so this is expected), but they look “clean” when scaled down on computer at 800×600, and I think the prints will look acceptable, too.
The pictures will also show vignetting, but this is nothing unexpected for such fixed focus disposable camera lens.
Out of 27 positions, I got 20 pictures I consider good enough and “keepers”. The picture turned out crisp – only 2 of them are motion blured. Try to stay still when taking pictures and you’ll be fine. For best colors, take pictures of close divers/fishes (less than 1-2 meters away)…
We also used a non-disposable 35mm plastic camera with case and underwater casing, but the Kodak yielded better quality pictures.
As for the viewfinder, it is a bit harder to look through it with the googles on, but I got better framed pictures than with the non-disposable camera that had a “target” sistem.
If you want to spend only 10-20$ and don’t plan investing more on underwater casing for digital cameras, this camera is a good choice.
I don’t regret buying it.
Fun photos when snorkling
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We always bring a few of these with us when we go on warm weather vacations. They are perfect for taking snorkling and getting great photos underwater. You just need to be careful to use the sun as you light source and to shoot down, not up. The photos are a lot of fun – even just of people smiling two feet underwater! I would never use this out of the water – I’m sure the photos would be terrible. I prefer it to any other type of waterproof case, because I have zero worry about ruining my multi-hundred dollar digital camera. It is no fuss and lots of fun.
grainy pictures, camera jammed
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
My husband and I bought two of these to take on a cruise for our snorkling outting. Due to weather, the snorkeling was canceled, but we did end up using the cameras. One we used for regular pictures, outdoor only, beacuse there’s no flash, and it was okay, though the pictures were a bit grainy. The other I took on a camping trip with some high school kids and the camera jammed a few pictures into the roll, I could turn and turn the winder, and the film wouldn’t advance, but it would let me take another picture. After fighting with it the entire weekend, I ended up getting about 10 pictures that could be made out, though these were grainy, too.
Great Camera – both underwater and above

I recently took this camera on vacation with me to the Cayman Islands. It was wonderful! My pictuers came back clearer than what I had expected them to. The only thing I would change is the shutter button. It is located in the front of the camera and is kind of hard to push. The button is a little okward.
Not bad for under 10 bucks

I used 2 of these cameras on vacation in Aruba. I took one down to 85ft with no problems. There is no flash so you better have great visibility or there will be no pictures. The camera is bouyant so you also need to use the rubber band tether that comes with it. I did not put it in my BC pocket for fear that it would come out and rush to the surface. But it was fine on my wrist.
No enough sunlight under 10m,,, no flash either
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This camera looks really good and promising. Although Kodak says it could down to 50ft, the camera itself has the phrase “max 35ft or 10m” written on it. But we reached 60ft and nothing happened to it. It didn’t break or leak! It also is a little bit buoyant, which means it won’t sink if dropped, instead it will ascend.
It has two disadvantages; the first is its lack to a flash. There isn’t much sunlight under 35ft of sea water and so the photos turned out a little too dark and bluish. After color correction the photos turned so pale and spotted. The pictures taken above 20ft were awesome. The second disadvantage is that the camera’s eye lens it too small for someone who is wearing a diving mask (goggle).
The camera doesn’t lose its color to the eye even under 60ft since it is blue. And it has a place where a rope or a nylon tape can be tied to it so it can be attached to the diving jacket (BCD).
It is not perfect, but it’s the best.
Poor image quality and design
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I purchased this camera and took it to the beach. The photos were so bad, I threw them away. The images were all washed-out and blurry. Also, the film advancing mechanism is very tricky, so several of the pictures I took overlapped each other. I’ve used other disposable cameras before that wouldn’t let you take a picture until the film had been fully advanced to the next frame. With this camera, I advanced the film until the mechanism stopped, and the camera allowed me to take another picture. Unfortunately, the film hadn’t advanced fully and the next picture partially overlapped the previous picture that I had taken. What a waste of money this camera was!
Thankfully, I had also taken my digital camera, so I still had some good pictures of my trip
No flash no big deal?

My wife and I bought this camera at the last minute to take with us to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We went snorkeling in Molikini (who hasn’t?) and I have to say 3 things about this camera that have been mentioned already but need to be taken into serious consideration.
1. Price – A $10 waterproof disposable camera is very reasonable. I think for the price this camera is everything it is suppossed to be. The charter we went on the snorkeling trip with was renting $400 cameras with all the bells and whistles for $20 and $10 per roll of film.
2. Flash – For a snorkeling trip, and staying close to the surface I have to say this camera didn’t do too bad. The colors were a bit blueish but nothing that I can’t live with. As far as my 25 foot dive down to a turtle to get a picture, I shouldn’t have wasted the picture, it is dark and blurry without a flash.
3. Eye Piece – This is a big pain to use with goggles. I eventually stopped trying to aim and just started snapping pictures. I would have to say that to be able to take clear photos underwater this camera needs a bigger eye piece.
Overall I was satisfied with this camera but to tell you the truth I wish I would have rented the camera from the boat with the flash (if only for the picture of me and a giant turtle).
Do Not Waste Your Money on this Camera!!!
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I was extremely disappointed with this camera. It’s a shame there is no option for zero stars, because it doesn’t even deserve one. I bought two of them for a vacation to Belize because we were planning to do a lot of activities in and around the water, and we were hoping to capture those memories without risk to our digital camera. Now I really regret not putting a little more money into a waterproof case for our digital camera rather than wasting money on this camera and developing pictures that were only worthy of the garbage can.
All of the pictures from both cameras were very grainy – terrible, terrible quality. The camera that we took pictures with while diving was slightly better than the one we never even submerged in the water. Those pictures were so grainy that we couldn’t even tell what the pictures were supposed to be of. Extremely disappointing for a camera that wasn’t even submerged in water. Not to mention both cameras said that there were more pictures left on the roll when there were none, so we took shots that we thought were going to be really amazing only to find that they weren’t even on the negatives.
I was so disappointed in this camera that I wrote to Kodak and they offered to send me two new disposable cameras. Unfortunately our trip to Belize was a once in a lifetime trip, so I have absolutely no need for replacements – the damage is done. And I have no desire to ever use one of these cameras again. If you are planning on using a disposable waterproof camera for capturing valuable memories, DO NOT waste your money on this one. The only thing you will receive from the photo lab is disappointment. I wish I had done more research before purchasing this one – please don’t even bother with it!
