Great product
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
We live in a roof top apartment and have a nice view of the city. Got these principally to be able to zoom in and see different details in the neighborhood and the city.

We are binocular newbies – did not have any difficulties figuring out how to use them and are pleased with the purchase – we’ve had a lot of fun with these binoculars.

Perfect for birders
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
These are great binoculars, perfect for birders. Check out the full moon view as well. When viewed with these binoculars, moon completely occupies the field of view. That makes moon view most beautiful.

Super magnification. The eyepieces do not come closse enough for a small person to use both eyes at once. It will be left for the male member of the family.

Just returned
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
The vision was double! Could not correct, and the distance focus was dismal to boot! Impossible to get both lenses in sync and focused. And yes, I know about binoculars (30 years law enforcement, used “a few” times!) Very poor distance clarity. I returned (no problem thru Amazon) although my account still has not been credited. I ordered the 10X50 power which works great!

UPDATE ON RETURN- Took a while (month) but I was credited fo the full amount including shipping, so we are square! Did buy the next lower power which work fine.

Great Value

The price to quality is the optimum that one should expect for a general use binoculars.

A tough buyer of on-line goods
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Folks for the price and even with the strap the product it comes with it is a very good deal. I don’t know about how water proof or resistant it is yet so keep that in mind. The product is fully rubber coated and have knurled areas where your hands will normally hold. The clarity and zoom are very good. You will easily focus your right eye to match your eye site with your left by adjusting your right eye by a ring focus such as like focusing a microscope. The product looks and feels durable. The fast focus works very well. The price is a good deal, as one person stated in his review “YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED”

Affordable Surprise
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I bought these binoculars as a gift for my husband whose owned quite a few sets over the years but who always seems to lose them. He will tell you that these are the best ones he’s had yet. That being said, I should qualify that our requirements from them are modest…only to see what’s going on around our 260 acre lake. These do that and more. I would say that anyone looking for a good set of affordable binoculars will be hard pressed to find a better pair.

Left lens blurry
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This an otherwise excellent binocular and I have the 16×50 version and am very happy. However, the one 20×50 that I received had a somewhat very bad case of blurry lens (for me at least,) but just the left one. So I returned it and got the full refund from Amazon, including shipping. It took some work to ship it back but it was really a simple and straightforward process, which makes me confident buying from Amazon again. I ended up buying the Pentax 20×60 which is excellent but not perfect. The most important thing for me is clarity (brightness) and sharpness (in both eyes, of course.) So, the build is important, durability and overall quality if very important, but the most important thing is getting a clear, sharp image. I believe this binocular can deliver but not my copy. I would like to try another copy but now I have the Pentax which so much better.

REVIEW OF BUSHNELL 20X50 BINOCULARS
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
PRODUCT IS AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED. LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO FOCUS. DOES REQUIRE A STEADY HAND OR BRACE.

Hard to Focus Technology
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
The strange focus adjustment lever is just plain difficult to use. The lever is uncomfortable to reach and adjust. It wasn’t easy for me to adjust the focus easily or exactly. This made finding the perfect focus arduous and time-consuming.

If you don’t have a tripod, get one. You must use a tripod if you want to enjoy a long, steady, still gaze at your subjects.

I’m buying a telescope next.

high power fi that’s what you want
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I read the reviews on this product and was a little reluctant to buy it beacuse people complained that they were too strong and difficult to hold when looking at a distance. If you want strong binoculars that’s what will happen. These are fantastic at long distance and need a steady hand. If you want close distance you will need to get weaker ones.

Nice Binoculars but…..
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
When I first received these binoculars I was seeing a double image. I tried re-adjusting them as per the instructions but no luck.

I then contacted Bushnell tech support via their website’s email. No luck, they never responded to me, even as I write this review. It’s been over a month now.

I took it upon myself to un-screw each of the larger lenses’s then re-screwed them on and bingo I fixed the double image problem. They now work great.

Even though I believe that Bushnell has good products, I would not make them my first choice in purchasing any other products that they manufacture simply because of the total lack of their customer service practices.

Super Bird Watcher
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Have tried different scopes and binoculars and this is the best for my backyard and woods. Easy to use, I support my elbows on the desk, and am able to use without a tripod. Perfect birdwatcher!

Not so great.
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I purchased these binos because they appeared to be a good deal. However, they didn’t turn out to be. The binos arrived with one of the lenses bent inward significantly. I returned them to amazon with no hassle. The representative who helped me over the phone was very nice and even sent me a replacement the very next day. The replacement binos seemed fine at first but then I noticed that the lenses were slightly crooked. So when viewing an object, both eyes have different perspectives which creates a blurred view. The only way to view an object clearly is to keep one eye closed. I would return these too, but I threw away the manufacturer’s packaging. I wouldn’t recommend these. If I had to do it all over again, I would pay a little more for something better.

Don’t buy these–you’ll see double
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Bought these June 26, 2009. Within 2 weeks on our trip, they were “out of collimation,” which means you’ll see double. Of course, we just returned from our vacation, and Amazon won’t take them back only 5 weeks after I purchased them. Visit a retail store where they stand behind the products they sell.

Great Fixed Power Binoculars!!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Greetings,

These binoculars focus great from up-close to far away. The PowerView Zip Focus works great for fast focusing and the views are sharp. This is a great deal for the money. Always set the Bino’s on a stationary surface when setting the diopter for matching your eyes the first time. Focus left eye first with PowerZoom focus with right eye shut, then open right eye and close left and adjust the diopter (twist right eyepiece) for right eye focus. Once set, you will experience great performance from your Bushnell Bino’s!!!! Enjoy! …Jamie

I wasn’t sure about buying these binoculars because of some of the reviews. These binoculars are great. You get very close up image of what you are viewing.

Good product
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This item is great for the price, in fact I was pretty impressed by the lens and the zoom.

Pros: great zoom, amazing clarity, and very receptive control. Had terrific experience at the Everglades national park with this.

Cons: no strap, the covers are really flimsy.

Better than anticipated
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
As a town agency inspecting possible development sites, I needed versatile, fairly rugged, yet budget priced binoculars. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. These Bushnells were built very rugged, were surprisingly clear and easy to use and offered a much better field of view than similar models we had used in the past.

The carrying case could be beefed up a little more if, like me, you tend to toss them in the back of the SUV and head out into the field. The lens caps also were a little skimpy and easy to lose. But, for a good day-to-day field work unit, it offers both ruggedness and precision viewing. Easy to focus and the magnification is perfect when you are in locations that tend to be inaccessible and you need long-range viewing power. In that price range, the Bushnell 20×50 is more than worth the investment.

cannot focus
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
These were a Christmas gift, so were past the 30 day Amazon return period when I found that they would not focus. Each idividual lins would focus, but the two together would not allign. Several different users have tried to allign the barrells without success. I have returned them to Bushnell, hopefully for replacement, but still had to pay postage and $10 for handling, notwithstanding the warranty.

Awesome binoculars
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased these binoculars for my husband for Christmas this year and he absolutly loves them. The images are very clear and concise. I researched many different kinds before I decided on these. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting an exceptional pair. He is looking forward to taking them into the woods to watch the birds and wildlife.

Bushnell binoculars
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This pair of binoculars was a Christmas gift to my husband. He was thrilled when he opened the gift and has been 100% satisfied with them. We live on in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and have quite a view from our house. He has been able to see quite a distance with his new binoculars and is enjoying being able to view and identify up close what he has previously only been able to view in the distance. I was also very pleased with the shipping arrangements. The binoculars arrive right on schedule, as indicated by Amazon, and in plenty of time for Christmas.

Bushnell Binocs Bee-U-ti-full Bargain
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
After surfing the net, growing wearing of gartantuan price increases, what a thrill it was to discover the bargain of bargains, top quality, instantly available, gently used Bushnell Powerview Binocs, a perfect example of the type of bargain that Amazon dot com continues to offer the discriminating and careful shopper.

Not only is my purchase a bargain, but also the quality of the merchandise is top of the line, just what I’ve grown to expect from my Amazon purchases. The binocs are easy to focus, spot-on in focus (you could pick a flea off the back of a rhino at 50 paces) and child-easy simple in its user’s technique. What fun it is to get exactly what was described! The only surprise for this jaundiced shopper is that the merchandise is precisely what I hoped for and expect.

You rock, Amazon!

I am happy with both pair of binoculars as I sit on my deck and look over the pond and other animals I have on my small farm. They were just what I wanted.

Item was great but
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Bushness is a Walmart of the other high end giants. Yet the described qualities are always high and commensurate with applications. I mistook the item for Night Vision IR Goggle (inexpensive) or a Binocular and requested it. I am glad you accepted back. Now I look our for a good (I mean really great) deal to get one. Thanks for the prompt responses, good service and comfortable shopping.
