Incredible for the Price
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have always had binoculars. But I can safely say that I have never had a pair this sharp at anywhere near the price. They snap into focus and the image is sharp as a tack. The ergonomics are very good they fit my hands and the control is right where you expect it to be. The controls are silky smooth making focus and diopter adjustment quite precise.

The rear lens caps slip onto the neck strap where they are reasonably secure. Unfortunately Nikon couldn’t come up with as good an answer for the front lens caps. They have small loop with an opening so you can clip them onto the neck strap. Not very secure. More likely they will go in my pocket. Good luck finding a replacement, Google couldn’t.

The nicely padded soft case does not come with a strap. It hangs from the binocular strap when they are in the case. I still haven’t come up with a good solution on what to do with it in the field. However the strap on the binoculars is nice and wide 1 1/4″

A great purchase, quality binoculars, but learn before you buy!

Nikon 7266 Action 10 X 40 mm Binoculars

I’ve always been a Nikon camera fan, and these are outstanding binoculars, with the same look, feel and optics you find in their highest quality cameras.

If you spend a few moments learning about how to buy binculars, you’ll be able to choose, as I did, a product that is well built and designed for what you are doing (hummingbird watching here). Learn what Magnification Power, Objective Lens Diameter and Exit Pupil mean.

The case is clean in design, very nice and functional.

This is a simple but useful site I found on how to pick binoculars. Many thanks to the author for posting this.

Good luck and enjoy.
