It is awesome. I had the old version of the smallest rengefinder on earth without pinseeker technology. I believe the tour pro. It worked well but if there was no wind and you were quite aways from the green sometimes you could not pick up the flag. This one, if in question, takes the distnce from the closer object. Highly recommended.

Have used the Bushnell Tour V2 with Pinseeker laser Rangerfinder and it works as advertized. Easy to use…to the pin. Switch modes and get yardage to a specific point.

Extremely displeased and disappointed

I just recieved my Tour V2 rangefinder and was extremely eager to use it.The product came just in time for a golf outing at a local resort that I had not played before. Out of the box the middle numbers of the display did not illuminate. Now I have to take the time to send it back to Bushnell – $20 dollars in postage, there and back – not to mention how long it will take to come back. Where is the quality control? I should have bought the Nikon…

Product works well. Good telescope, easy to read distance. Size is not obtrusive. Easy to use. Negative – Has a weird 3 volt battery which requires a battery store for replacement. I paid $9.50 for battery. Original battery still working but I always carry a backup.

This rangefinder seems to be accurate but it is extremely difficult to lock in on a flag without a super steady hand. I have tried using a club to help steady my aim but it is still difficult. The best result I have had is when I can hold it against a golf cart while aiming. If your target was the size of a golf cart, this device would be ideal. The benefit of a rangefinder vs. a GPS device is you get an “exact” yardage to the hole and you don’t need to worry about any downloads of courses or annual subscriptions to get courses loaded onto your GPS device. However, after several rounds of use, I think I would rather the ease of using a GPS device and getting a very good yardage estimate over the sometimes frustrating use of a rangefinder just to get an exact number.

goes through batteries

The Bushnell Tour V2 is excellent, easy to use, accurate……when it is working. We bought one a couple of months ago and it has already gone through 2 batteries. It’s a bummer to use it and find it’s not working because the battery is dead. A battery is supposed to last for 10,000 uses. We’re going to try one more battery and if it goes dead quickly (as the other 2 have done), we’re going to return it.

Handy and easy to use

I purchased the Bushnell Tour V2 to replace a 5 year old Bushnell Yardage Pro that stopped working. I was satified with the Yardage Pro, but the Tour V2 is much faster at acquiring the yardage and feels better in my hand. I love the fact that it will fit in a golf cart cup holder and that I can use it with one hand. I also like the carrying case better. For me it is an indispensable golf tool.

Beware of suppliers

If you need your order quickly, beware of some of Amazon’s second rate suppliers of electrical devices like this as they are often out of stock or close to it. I tried to order this unit for Christmas and it took “Gizmos for Life” four days to tell me it was back ordered.

Pin Seeker is Primo

My wife and I play about 3 times per week. We were seeking a device to help us with distances and had considered GPS devices and range finders.

The Bushnell Tour V2 has helped both of us to better (lower) scores and taken distance questions out of the equation. We love it!!!!

Handy! accurate

The Tour V2 is lightweight and easy to use. Point at the flag or edge of trees and bam. It can even read to the edge of a sand trap, but I don’t know how accurate that yardage is. Otherwise very accurate. I liked that I did not need a subscription as with a GPS unit. It does take a little longer than simply looking down at a GPS unit. Battery is cheap but carry and extra one in your bag. I do not think there is a low battery indicator.
