I was really impressed with this unit. Lightweight and well constructed for the price and it comes with a carry case and extra camera plate. This is not a Manfrotto by any stretch of the imagination, but it gets the job done. I have used it for several long night exposures (+60 seconds)and have not had a bad shot from tripod shake. I did sandbag it once for a very windy night shot on an exposed hill and those shots came out perfect. <br /> <br />Bang for the Buck - Buy it! You'll not regret it. I bought two, one for each car. It fits my Nikon Coolpix and Flip Mino HD camcorder perfectly. I have shaky hands and when I go out to take pix of Oregon's beautiful scenery this is what I use. It pans very well and is easy to set up and use. In addition it is lightweight and comes with a shoulder strap travel bag. If you need a tripod this is the one to buy. Great Tripod
