The Built Hoodie keeps cameras shielded from the elements of rain, snow and accidental drops. Using two materials that provide a yin-yang construction, the Hoodie has a hard, durable EVA plastic backbone to give camera screens extra protection from accidental drops that is covered in a soft neoprene exterior that securely holds and stretches to accommodate a wide range of cameras. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this item! I use it for my iPod Touch. It fits nicely in there and I feel it is well protected.

Bought this for my Canon sd940 point and shoot camera and it fits perfectly. I love the semi-hard case inside to protect and hold the camera. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered the soho stripe print and was a little disappointed when I received it in the mail. As others have said in their reviews, the color of the stripes are much much darker than the pastel-like colors that are shown in the picture. Shade of colors are different but I still like the print so I decided to keep it. I bought one as a gift for a friend and one for me. When you order these cases the prints will be slightly different as they are from different parts of the fabric. I’ve only had the case for a day or so but am pleasantly pleased so far. Always satisfied with the quality of Built NY products. In addition to this camera case I have one of their lunch totes which is great as well. I would definitely recommend this product for your camera and or any other small electronic device (i.e. cell phone, itouch.) I’m hoping to get an itouch soon and when I do I’ll definitely be getting another Built NY case for it. Great product.

Built NY E-HCS-SHS Small Hoodie Camera Case (Soho Stripe)
I am very disappointed in what hte actual case turned out to look like upon receipt. It is very dark orange like a rust and has a big black stripe instead of a light blue and green stripe. It basically is a different product fabric than the one shown.

This camera case allows for full protection for your camera, while still allowing quick and easy access for you. The colors are unique, in a positive way. It is hard to find a camera case that is more exciting than black or blue.

Fits Fuji EXR200

This camera case was perfect for keeping sand out of my camera while taking pictures in the desert. If any of you are wondering how it fits a Fuji EXR 200, it does fit, albeit a little snug. The advantage is, you can keep the hood part off while holding on to the camera’s cord, and the case will not slip off at all. That makes it easier to take the camera out of the case in time for that critical shot.

It does a good job protecting its contents, but it is difficult to get the camera in and out. So if you are looking for a case to take along where you’ll be putting your camera in and out of its case a lot, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Built NY makes fun things. I love having cases and bags that have some personality. This is perfect for my point & shoot and also for an iPod touch. Tossing these in my big tote bag makes the items easy to find and gives them some protection too.

Perfect for small cameras! This offers protection for my camera but is still small enough to easily tuck in my purse or bag and doesn’t take up a ton of room – which is why I wanted a small camera in the first place! There is a small pocket, too, to tuck an extra SD card, batteries, etc. – which is nice. Easy to get camera in and out. Love it!

I love my new small hoodie camera case. It is attractive looking and it is very protective. No need to worry about dropping your camera when it is in this case. It fits my camera like a glove!!! I could not think of a better product!

Semi-hard sided case gives my camera extra protection, but is not the least bulky. Has space for storing extra battery and memory sticks. Hot little item! Love it! It was recommended by some of the people that had purchased the same camera I did and I was glad I took their advice! Plus I received it quickly and with no problems whatsoever!
Protection- Nice looking- doesn’t make noise like Velcro cases

I have no problem with taking the camera in and out of the case…It’s pretty easy for me. I don’t like the zipper cases because I ended up scratched my camera with it. And those Velcro cases always make noises every time you open the case. This case is just perfect…it protect the case and nice looking.
Worth the Money

This is definetly worth the $$ I was looking for a case that fit my Canon SD880 IS, this is perfect. It holds the camera nice and tight, so it doesn’t move around. I like the fact that one side is hard to protect the glass. Glad I bought it. Came without delay.
Not just for cameras

Our family has several of these and not one holds a camera! I use one for my huge original Zune and another for an iTouch. Both of my kids use them to hold iPods. The hard back makes it easy to slip in an mp3 player and offers some protection against dropping. Cords and earbuds fit in the back pocket. The stretchy hood prevents the player from falling out accidently in a purse or backpack.
As a professor I travel around campus a lot and need to carry with me little items like my cell phone, lipstick, ID, a bit of cash and a keydrive. Women’s professional clothing never has pockets which makes it hard. I’ve tried a zippered pouch or wrist bag but it looks too much like a makeup bag and the zipper makes a surprising amount of noise. A purse or briefcase is too big and a folio doesn’t work with bulky items. This little case is perfect – I can fit everything in and just have one item to carry. The black one looks professional and can be opened without any noise. But the best part is that with the hood open, the whole thing props up, making it easy to get at things inside. I leave it propped open on my desk and all I have to do is grab my key drive and go! It movies easily from briefcase to desk to classroom to meetings to home.

I bought this Built Hoodie camera case for myself and ended up giving it to my sister-in-law for her Flip video camera and ordering another one for myself. It is very cute and fit my Canon 960 and her Flip camera. It was just as pictured. The second one I got was not nearly as cute, not as pictured at all. It had a lot more dark colors (loden green, black, red) instead of the more pastel-y ones in the picture. The edging and wrist strap is a burnt orange color. I really liked my first one and plan to return the second one and exchange it for one that hopefully matches the picture online.

I purchased this because I love this Built Ny pattern. I already own the lunch tote and know how durable and easy to clean their products are. With that being said, this is a snug fitting case, the front part of the case is just the thick fabric, and the back is the hard shell. I think that if I dropped my camera it would be protected, but there’s only one way to know for sure and I’m not trying that on purpose.
This case is perfect for me because I can keep it in my purse without adding a lot of bulkiness. I have the Canon Powershot SD1200IS camera currently and use to have the SD630 with it and they both fit well. I hope this review helps you make your decision.

Great case and small enough to pop in a medium-size purse or a coat pocket. It is neoprene so of course the camera doesn’t come out without a tug, but the rigid bottom gives protection. Color is great too.

I bought this case for my sony cybershot. About 3 weeks after using it the stiching began to unravel. To get your camera out you have to pull the hood out and over to get to the camera, which stretches the neoprene material causing the unraveling.
It is a very snug fit. It does have a seperate compartment for storage, but the case is so small, nothing can fit in it. I can only store a lens cloth. It would be nice to keep an extra battery or cord, but there is just no room to spare.

I bought this case for my Nikon coolpix s202. It fits nicely inside the camera compartment. I can easily get my camera in and out. I took it to Mexico with me a few weeks ago and basically used it as a purse. The back compartment was convenient enough to hold my memory card case, some money, and my room key. I dropped it a couple of times and the hard screen protector divider protected my whole camera.

I received an offer for this product after buying a Lumix Camera. The camera does not fit into the case, and the case although looks nice and original in pictures, is good for nothing in my view. Too narrow, not good hanging alternatives, I still could not understand its purpose. I returned it immediately.
