Where there is light there is smoke

I purchased two of these lamps. Plugged both in (different outlets) after four minutes they both started to smoke. I turned both off, and unplugged. Later when they cooled down I examined both. No damage, have no idea what caused the smoke. Maybe these lights also give off a fog effect, the reason for the smoke. But still not using them as while they were smoking they also gave off the odd electrical something burning odor.

Buena luz, muy facil de cargar, de instalar,lo unico que considero como una desventaja es que es una luz muy directa, por tanto hay que colocarla a distancia prudente y esto trae como consecuencia ruido en las imagenes. Debiera tener un difusor en la lampara, pero del resto me parece que es muy practica , asi que la recomiendo
Works 5 minutes smokes and blows fuse

I bought this item because of the price. I plugged it in, turned it on and within 5 minutes the unit began to smoke and blew the fuse. I called the store and they replaced the unit. The second unit did the exact same thing. The store refunded my money. The manufacturer has since sent another replacement for free and it started smoking within 5 minutes but hasn’t blown the fuse. I haven’t turned it back on since it started smoking. I’m going to purchase a 150w bulb to see if that makes a difference in functionality but so far this unit has acted just like the first two.
I was very disappointed with this product and would not recommend wasting your money.
