Completely satisfied. I ordered the cameras from another vendor and they shipped on the same day.

not for camera use

I have an OLYMPUS camera D-390

It uses this type of memory card.

It came with a 16MB card that works.

The new 2GB card did not work.

Appears the camera is at fault.

So the product is probably good but not for me.

Good luck I like my money back if possible.

Actually now I need to find a campatable picture frame to use this product in.

Un-happy customer.

If you are purchasing the Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 12 MP Digital Camera you DO NOT NEED the M+ card. The camera comes with a M+ to Micro SD adapter. Purchase an 8gig Micro SD card use the adapter. This will give you around 2200+ 12mb pictures.

I also used it to record video with no problems. I had 300 pictures with 3 15 minute video clips.

Good choice – I’ve been shooting at 5mp and there’s scads of room on this. Nice to not have to worry about room when shooting.

Olympus 2Gb Memory Card
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I received this card very quickly after it was ordered. It is being used with a new Digital Camera and works very well. With a 10Mp camera, It holds 808 pictures in normal mode, more than enough for normal use. A very good product and the price was right.

If you have an Olympus Stylus camera you need this card to take panaramic photos. Good value.

It’s a memory card, how much is there really to say about it? I have used xD cards for a while and I have never had one get corrupted and transfer times are pretty good. The only thing I don’t like is the limited number of products with which it is compatable since most things use SD, and as such many computers with card readers do not support the xD.

Using in my old Fuji S3000. Got tons of space, and so far, no complaints.

Was most pleased. I was told that this device was no longer produced for my digital OLYMPUS camera. I did some checking. Found out indeed it is and found it on AMAZON.com. Including a price blow what it usually cost. Anytime I’m told that it’s no longer available, it usually is and can be found. Amazon.com is a first choice with me. The device arrived in a few days from ordering and was ready to work.

Some people have said it is slow processing on to the card for a high resolution pic, I have no problem with it. Price was a good deal.

Much Needed Space for my Olympus E-420
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I just recieved this card last week, and I am happy to say that it is doing the job. I am so glad to have a 2GB card because my previous largest memory card was a meager 256MB, less than ideal for my SLR.

I have had one problem with it though. Everytime I upload photos, I take the card out of the camera and put it in the card reader on my computer. After I have transferred everything and put the card back into the camera, it doesn’t recognize the card. I have to re-format the card EVERY time I do this process. I guess I could always transfer my pictures directly from my camera to the computer using the transfer cable, but it worries me that the card may be faulty.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had to pay shipping charges on those. I thought if I spent over $25 with Amazon that I wouldn’t pay shipping charges.

Old, slow technology. If it’s all you can use, then do so.

After using my Olympus C-7000 to take JPEGs only for a number of years, I finally started to explore the power of RAW files. This really allowed me to improve the color significantly. Beforehand, I had never really been in love with in the color from this camera. So why is this relevant? Because saving RAW files with the xD memory cards is very slow, and the M+ versions of the memory card did not help much. If this style of memory card is all your camera can handle, then by all means use the M+ card. However, it is a shame the the great work of Olympus (and I’m a long-time Olympus user) is compromised by such slow storage media. At least, it is slow vs. today’s standards, such as the SanDisk 2 GB Extreme III SD Memory Card ( SDSDX3-002G-A21 Retail Package). The SanDisk card also comes with software for recovering accidentally deleted images. With my Pentax K10D 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with Shake Reduction (Body Only) (or the updated Pentax K20D 14.6MP Digital SLR Camera with Shake Reduction and DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL II Lens, or brand-new Pentax K-7 14.6 MP Digital SLR with Shake Reduction and 720p HD Video (Body Only)), you can use these fast cards (and faster cards are on the way). I currently take simultaneous JPEG and RAW photos with the Pentax K10D and the process is fast. Just taking a RAW picture on the C-7000 would require many seconds to save to any xD type card I tried, including the 2 GB xD M+. So, if you want to shoot RAW files, I don’t see how you will be happy with an M+ card (unless, perhaps, your camera has a memory buffer that can speed up the photography process somehow). If you stick to JPEGs, the card will work fine, but you may be giving up a lot of your camera’s inherent power.

This card works fine. I wish they had larger cards since this types is necessary for the video feature.

customer service great
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have an older model Olympus digital camera and found that this picture card was not compatable with it. I contacted Cameta Camera and received instructions to return the item. My account was credited very quickly. I’d definitely purchase from them again and I felt their customer service was great.

The best XD card to Get
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
If you have to get an XD card this is the one to get. Its their fastest to date and if you want full motion video on the current (2009) Olympus Cameras you need the speed. I was using an older XD on my Stylus Tough and couldn’t get 30 FPS at 640 x 480 except in 30 second bursts (the amount it took to fill the buffer). After this card I get it till the card is full.

2 Gigs will hold a bit over 850 pictures at normal quality (10mp) or a bit less than 15 minutes of video at 640×480 30fps.

I’ve tested it in a Oly 720Sw, Sylus Tough (6000 & 8000) and Fuji F40. Works fine.

For an XD card I give it 5 stars, but keep in mind its still an XD card. You buy XD cards because you have to, not because its competitive in any way. They are slower, more expensive per GB and not supported on all readers. But if you own an Olympus or an older Fuji your stuck. If you have a newer generation fuji that takes SD cards use those instead.

Works well (wish it were larger)
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Performance is okay. Not as fast as the older (and more expensive) “H” series cards, but certainly faster than the original “M” series.

Works great in my 720SW and my girlfriend’s FE280.

Note: This won’t work in some older Olympus cameras like the C5050 because they top out at 512MB capacity. If you have an older model, check the specs before buying a larger card.

Olympus flash card

Received product on time and works well to capture photos. However, cannot be read with my card reader. Took to Best Buy and tried in three printers and one computer. Worked in one printer and the computer. Only way to download onto computer is through the camera, which eats up battery life.
