Brand: Kingston

Starting at 4GB, SDHC cards offer larger-volume data storage and optimized recording performance with support for FAT 32 file formats. In addition, KingstonâTMs SDHC cards use new speed class ratings known as Class 2, 4 and 6 that deliver a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with SDHC devices.

Although identical in size to todays standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).

For added reliability and durability, our solid-state SDHC memory cards are built of nonvolatile memory components and have no moving parts that could wear out or break. All cards are 100-percent tested and are backed by a lifetime warranty and free live technical support. more info

Dependable for a good price
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Works great for our digital camera, allowing enough space for tons of photos and even a few videos. Good value especially for its cost.

What’s to say??

What can one say about a memory card. It works and I am satisfied!

Great card with a great capacity
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I got this card free with another item but I wouldn’t have had any issues paying for it because it has lot of storage capacity and works perfectly well.

Does the trick
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
It just simply works. This card says its a class 4 and I have achieved 8-10 Mbps download of my photos in Picasa. This is a 5x increase from my previous 1GB card. I love it.

Reliable but not as advertised
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
In the description, it states that:

“Some of the listed capacity is used for formatting and other functions and is not available for data storage”. But what that they don’t tell you is that this needed capacity is ~1.5Gb. My unused card showed a capacity of 14.5Gb. If they need 1.5Gb for other functions, this should be advertised.

So far no problems with the reliability.

Not Visible on Two Different Computers
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
On the very first day of use, it seemed to work OK in a Canon S90 for taking pictures, but both a Dell desktop and a Sony Vaio laptop were unable to read the card. The Sony reported a read error and the Dell just hung. I’m returning it. The computers are 2 – 3 years old.

Amazing Speed
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I did not think that the memory card would respond the way this one does. This is realy fast.

No complaints
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Unlike one of the Sony MS pro I bought few years ago which had some bad memory address and caused bit errors. this SDHC card had no issues. Went to Disneyworld and the whole 8GB was consumed, I didn’t see any corrupted jpg or video when I uploaded them to my PC.

does the job, but not good enough…
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I didnt realize how fast the point and shoot cameras are getting sooo many megapixels until I started looking for a good one for my mom… This card is no good for a 12 megapixel camera! It takes way too long to save each picture slowing down how fast you’re able to take consecutive pictures! Go for the Sandisk extreme cards and dont look back!

I only have SLR cameras, and use the San Disk extreme cards because speed is crucial! Dont cheap out on a card after buying a nice camera, or you’ll be sorry! Thats the first thing i noticed when showing her how to use her new Canon Point and Shoot camera is how SLOWWWWWWWW it took to save each photo before I could take another.. If waiting a few seconds between each picture is a non-issue, buy all means save some money and buy this card.

Bottom line: You’re wasting your money buying this card to use in a high resolution point and shoot, which they all seem to be now days. Just too slow!

Really Good Memory Card

I bought this to go with my fiance’s Nikon P90 camera I got her for Christmas and it works just great with plenty of memory. I will definitely recommend it to others!

Doesnt work with lumix
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This thing does not work with Lumix cameras so if you have a lumix DO NOT PURCHASE one of these. Other than this it works well with all other cameras and has a good price.

Excellent card for the money.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The card is fine. However, the delivery was disappointing. It reached the Kentucky shipping center on Dec. 17 and did not get delivered here in Wisconsin until Dec.28 (after the estimated date of Dec. 23 for this Xmas gift). I know there is delayed mail during the holiday rush, but this seems inordinantly long.

Fine Memory Card
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this card for use with my Nikon Coolpix L20 and am very pleased with the item. I am especially happy with the option of frustration-free packaging. Would recommend this product.

Great

Works perfectly with my Fuji fine pix z30, very cheap and storage more than 3000 photos!!!

I am very happy with this card matched with a 10MP camera.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This works really good for photos. For a class 4 I actually find this card pretty fast and speedy. I take a bunch of 10MP pictures and when I go to unload they just fly off incredibly fast. Even in the hundreds of MB it just seems very fast to me coming from what I previously had.

Best of all this was a bonus from buying a camera. Very good service from Amazon indeed and thank you!

I order this mem for my Panasonic DMC-FS7 digital camera. I just droped it in and the camera recognised it no problem at all.

Works ok except my PC doesn’t read it
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Works fine for what I need but for some reason my computer doesn’t read it. I have to plug my camera in and pull my photos from there…maybe something I am doing wrong, I am not sure thus the 4 star instead of 5.

Ray May 17, 2010 at 5:27 pm

Cannot be read/recognized in my computer!
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I got the 4Go class 4 card. The card works ok in my camera (Canon G9) but when it comes to read it in my computer reader (ASUS Laptop 2007), it does not even know it is in there, so I cannot do anything about it. I believe it is a problem with (relatively) old laptops, but when you pay a premium card, that price, you can expect that it would work without problems in any computer…

Now I have to use the USB cable of my camera, which I found much less convenient that using directly the card (especially while travelling, does not use the camera battery). So if you are in my case, I don’t recommend buying it. I bought it to upgrade from my 2Go Sandisk that works perfectly and resulted in using my previous one as the default one…

Kingston 8GB SDHC Flash Memory Card Class 4
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The card works…as it’s supposed to. I’ve only used it for one day, recording both video and still shots with a new Panasonic camcorder, so far I’m satisfied with it’s performance.

Excellent Product
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Used it on different computers and format it like 3 times now this SD card has proven to be reliable and cost effective!!

I use it for extended HDD space since my Mini Dell only has 8GB HD space (its a SSD) so its sending and receiving info all the time and NO problems at all!!!

Recommend it as well as the hasle free packaging!
