Offers just the right amount of space for your camera and allows you to transfer for easier printing and uploading purposes with the USB.

Great card and handy USB
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The USB card reader is very nice to have. You never know when a friend will have some pictures you want on your computer but you don’t have the right cable. Now you just slide the card in and instant download.

Memory Card GOOD, Card Reader BAD
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The 8GB memory card is great. I’m excited that it will hold a LOT of pictures (and video) on my camera.

The “card reader” is a piece of crap! I could tell from the moment I saw it that I was going to have a problem with it. It didn’t work for me, and I should’ve just listened to those other reviews I read. If you’re reading this, save your money and just order the memory card. It’s not that big a deal using the cord that came with the camera to upload onto your computer.

Nice…

Absolutely love it. Great for the price, and the card reader was a great plus. I had lost my cord for my camera after I had purchased this, so I was relieved to know that a card reader was included so I didn’t have to get one separately. It hold so much memory.

USE PROVES THIS A CONVIENT TOOL–LOADS OF PHOTO SPACE
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Wonderful. Mine is holding 800 photos and counting. The adapter is so convenient and replaces any need for wires and balancing a camera somewhere near my computer while downloading photos. What’s not to like.

It is also a convenient way to transport photos to another computer, like sharing grandchildren photos with other family members. Then they can choose to keep or adapt the pictures as they want, in their own way, different from what I do on my own computer.

For another potential use, on long vacations, with lots of photos, download on any computer, email them home, then the MC can be erased and begin filling again. Do the editing at home, not on vacation time.

An inexpensive and much desirable companion for the Powershot user. You will not be sorry.

My spouse is very happy with this purchase.

It helps him take as many pictures as he can without downloading them immediately to his PC.

Thank You for your good business.

Worth it for the card
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The 8GB SD card is great! I use it in my Canon XS DSLR and it works wonderfully. The card reader is garbage. Out of a 100 photo transfer you can bet that 15-20 of them will be loaded on the computer corrupted. Take out the reader and put it back in and those files will transfer fine. I have ditched the reader and just run a USB cable from my camera to the laptop, 100% successful transfer every time.

Memory Card/USB Card Reader
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a great deal! I love that I can just remove the memory card from my camera & insert it into the USB card reader and upload all my photos! It beats having to find the USB cord for the camera & hooking all of it up! Great for uploading your images to your lap top if on vacation/traveling!

I highly recommend this!

Card is great, reader sucks
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I like the card it works great and I’ve had no problems with that. Order was quick and arrived at my location sooner than expected.

However, the reader doesn’t work. Well thats not entirely true, for some reason if I put pressure on the top of the reader and sort of hold it down when its plugged in, it will activate. I thought about sending this back but the shipping would have been as much as the cost of the reader so I didn’t bother (perhaps this is why the reader doesn’t work, fairly cheap). I think next time i’ll just buy cards online and get a reader from a local store instead. That should help with any hassle the reader might have.

On a positive note it makes for a great place to store my card till I need it! Much easier to keep track of than a small thing card.

Great product and bargain

For the price you can’t beat this combination. And no more annoying cord to connect your camera to your computer. I used the card in a Panasonic, so don’t think it is particular to a Canon. The adapter does overlap the USB port by a little (on the sides, not on top or bottom) so it may interfere if a power cord is very close – but not for my compaq. No software needed, it is truly plug and play and acts like an additional drive. The minimal packaging allows it to be sent USPS so you don’t have to sign for it. Good for us apartment dwellers. How could you pass up 8GB for under 20 dollars???

Beware the USB reader. (EDIT)
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Love the memory card, hate the usb reader. I love how much space I get through the 8gb memory card, and with paying just over $20, it was a really good deal. I especially liked the USB reader. It’s extremely convenient and requires no wires! Here’s the problem: Just like the other user, mine seems faulty as my images has all of a sudden disappeared after connecting the reader to my computer. This is a big problem. I’m just lucky the pictures weren’t important! So be wary of this! Other than that, the seller shipped my item lightening fast… although we are only a city away, it came the next day!

***Edit*** 4 Stars, nix the 3.

After reading this review, the seller contacted me and ended up sending me a new usb reader. It seems that the one they sent me works much better(pretty much, I haven’t had any inconvenience with this one). They were quick and sent it fast. I am satisfied, but not wholy because I realized after I wrote the first review that some pictures from overseas(very important) were damaged as well. Customer service is awesome though.
