SanDisk is proud to announce their newest format to the SD memory card family: Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) This 4 GB capacity memory card is rated Class 2 for speed and performance based on SD 2.0 specifications. The SDHC memory card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory card, which can be used in a variety of digital products: digital music players, cellular phones, handheld PCs (HPCs), digital cameras, digital video camcorders, smart phones, car navigation systems and electronic books, that follows the SD 2.00 specifications. The SDHC card has a security feature for protection of copyrighted data. What is SDHC? To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications – which supports 4 GB and up – is called Secure Digital High Capacity(SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products. Details on the SD 2.0 specification:SDHC Cards address data (read and write) at numerous speeds. Many factors impede this performance. SDHC guarantees a minimum read and write speed necessary to handle recording high quality video and audio. The maximum card speed may vary, but you can always depend on SDHC cards to meet your SDHC host product’s high quality performance requirements. SDHC Compatibility Information Because SDHC works differently (supports the new higher capacity cards) this new card format is not backwards compatible with legacy SD format host devices. more info

Not much of a review. The SD card does exactly what is made to do. It stores information and allows you to use it as well as if it was an onboard hard drive. I use mine for adding music to my GPS and as a backup device for the GPS. Even exposed to a wide temp range it still works great.

All is good. The capacity of this little card is simply amazing. Purchased as a gift, in combo with a Canon camera, for a family member. Working as expected.

great price. you cant get a card with this much memory for this cheap in any store, i guarantee. it has more room than most people even need, which makes it great if you are going on vacation or just never get the time to unload your pictures onto your computer. i havent had a single problem with it yet.

This SanDisk 4GB memory card is a fantastic bargain at this price. Check around… you’ll see higher prices elsewhere. And, if you do find a memory card cheaper than this, it’s probably some unknown name.

I like this memory card because it holds alot of memory in it, and i haven’t had a problem with them just yet, and i am gonna end up ordering the 8.0 GB as well because it holds just as much memory, but i am satisfied with the ones that i do have because it hasn’t gave me any hassels at all. I prefer the 4.0GB and the 8.0GB rather than the 1.0GB because the 1GB holds less memory and you really can’t put that much on it. So i am very very satisfied with the 4GB memory card, No complaints here

I was surprised in using this 4gb flash card, that it was totally useless. Could not reveal the pictures from the flash card via card readers. Yes, plural. Tried 2 different card readers. No idea what the problem is.

WHEN I PURCHASED CAMERA, I ALSO ORDERED 1 EXTRA FLASH CARD AND 1 EXTRA BATTERY FOR SAME. I WAS NOT INFORMED THAT THE FLASH CARD AND BATTERY WERE TO BE SENT BY OTHER VENDORS. EACH CAME SEPERATLY AND HAD EXHORBENENT SHIPPING CHARGES. I WAS ABLE TO CANCEL BATTERY BUT NOT THE FLASH CARD.
THIS IS A BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE TO ME AND I WILL NOT EVER GIVE AN ORDER TO AMAZON UNTIL THEY TELL ME WHAT THE SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE.
4 GB Drive

WARNING: Not all cameras and/or laptops can “recognize” a 4Gb SD drive.
My three year old Canon PowerShot A540 could not, and so did my faithfull 6-yr old Toshiba A25-S307(upgraded to the max). I was saved by a co-worker who had a 2Gb drive and his (newer) cameras could read my new 4Gb. The 4Gb’s price of $10+ (including shipping) made the “exchange” fair and painless!
Maybe Amazon/SunDisk can add a little warning to that effect!

Arrived very quick. I can take 1200+ (3072 x 2304) photos with this card, or 92 minutes of video. I would not hesitate to order another one if needed.
