A Very Well Made Case, Classic Pelican!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
If you are looking for a GOOD Memory Card Case this case by Pelican won’t disappoint. It is very well made and deserves the Pelican name. It has a good weather seal and keeps a good grip on the SD cards I have placed in mine. Some of the other cases out there seem to be a little on the “cheap” side. This guy is sturdy!
Just the right size
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this case because I have eight SD cards and it was just the right size for me. I like that it has a hard shell and holds the cards securely. It’s easy enough to remove the cards, but they don’t slip out on their own.
Lock em shut for transport
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is the Real McCoy of SD cases. I have the nylon type as well as those hard shell metal ones. The nylon ones seem to secure great until the hook and loops wear out but offer little protection. The metal ones offer great potection but dent easy and pop open after a while. This case is made of tough plastic with a latch so it does exactly what I want and need. While it is not water proof, it looks like it will stand up to more moisture being compared to the others I have used. It will hold 8 regular SD cards and has room for Mini SD cards and micro SD card too. It also comes with a larger insert which can be used for some other type of cards or even a DS game.
GREAT PROTECTION FOR YOUR MEMORY CARDS
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a great investment if you have multiple SD memory cards you want to keep safe and secure and in one place. This can hold 8 SD memory cards. The outside of the case is a hard material giving it protection while the inside is made of foam that fits your memory cards tight so they won’t move. Case locks shut so you won’t accidently lose cards. It also appears that the case is waterproof as it is sealed all the way around the edges w/ the rubber insert (unknown how waterproof as I have not tested this out) All together this is a great case to keep your SD memory cards safe and secure.
Great Item

I haven’t had this case for long, so I don’t have much to say at this point. The build quality is solid, and the memory cards fit securely. This Pelican case is worth the money.
Could someone PLEASE tell me how to fit an SD card in this thing?!
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I purchased this item for my SD cards, it looks very nice and solid. However, I can’t fit not even one SD card in there, the cards just don’t fit. It appears to be a wrong design for SD cards. I even called the manufacturer (Pelican) and asked them for help. They just said they should fit! Try it again! I tried the mini SD cards and they fit fine but not SDs. Could someone please let me know if they have experienced the same problem and short of returning the damn thing, what I could do? It’s driving me crazy!
Great Storage for Memory Cards
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This item was exactly what I was looking for to store my SDHC cards for an upcoming trip. I read all of the information that Amazon had on this item and the one that bother me was the size. They have the following listed: Product Dimensions: 9.7 x 6 x 1.5 inches ; 8 ounces. This just seemed way to big for what I was trying to store. I looked around for this item elsewhere and they had the dimensions as something smaller. When comparing the two it looks like Amazon had the right dimensions but they should have been centimeters instead of inches (close to the centimeter dimensions). I wrote and asked Amazon about this and they told me that this is all they had on this item. If I needed more information that I needed to get with the Manufacturer. Amazon had it for $22.81 with free shipping. By the time I looked around and found the manufacture’s information and that this was indeed centimeters instead of inches, I ran across the same item for $14.22 and $2.92 shipping for a total price of $17.14. Not a bad deal and the place was fast. Too bad Amazon didn’t have time to actually look up this item and tell me the correct measurements because I would not have gone any further and purchased it from them. It is still a good deal at $22.81 but if your customer service can’t answer a simple questions, and I have to go somewhere else to find the information that I needed, then I will purchase at the lower price at the place that gave me the correct information.
Here are the actual sizes from the place I purchased this item for those who would like to know:
Exterior Dimensions: 5.00″ x 3.30″ x 0.95″
(L x W x D) (12.7 x 8.4 x 2.4 cm)
Interior Dimensions: 4.20″ x 2.30″ x 0.56″
(L x W x D) (10.7 x 5.8 x 1.4 cm)
Lid Depth: 0.26″ (0.7 cm)
Bottom Depth: 0.30″ (0.8 cm)
Total Depth: 0.56″ (1.4 cm)
Weight w/Foam: 4.48 ounces .28 lbs. (0.13 kg)
Weight w/o Foam: 2.72 ounces .17 lbs. (0.08 kg)
Colors: Black
Great storage for SD cards as well as micro cards.
Nice Case
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is what I was looking for to store my SD memory cards. It is well made, sturdy and closes tightly. It is a little bulky, but I only take it with me when I need to carry that many cards; otherwise, it stays at home. If I get to the point when I need to carry or story more than eight memory cards, I would consider getting another (or a larger case, if there is such a thing of equal quality).
Still plagued with assembly errors
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Stay away from this case!!! Pelican STILL has not resolved the assembly errors. Though the packaging clearly states it is model 0910 and both shows and claims SD cards will fit, I can assure you that is not the case (no pun intended).
This error has been going on since at least September and has clearly NOT been resolved yet. I attempted to reach Pelican only to discover they are closed until the week of January 4th 2010. As others have remarked it appears they incorrectly assembled this product and it contains the inserts for model 0920 which only holds 16 mini SD cards and NOT regular SD cards. If they haven’t fixed this after nearly 4 months I can’t imagine they will suddenly get a clue. At this point I’m going with one of the Lowepro cases instead.
Case a bit bigger than expected
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The case is very sturdy, but this also means it is quite large, larger than I expected. For its size, you could expect that it could hold 16 SDHC memories, but it holds only 8. I believe that a case for SDHC chips does not need to be quite this robust.
Perfect for Keeping your SD Cards in One Place
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a great case for keeping all your SD (or SD-Mini) Cards in one place that is safe and secure. Just remember to keep it separate from your camera when traveling.
not what was pictured
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
In the one I received, all the cutouts were customized for mini SD cards, not the regular-size cards. It was possible for me to use a razor blade and cut the hard rubber to make 2 regular size cards fit on each side, but there’s no way I could fit 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom, as pictured. And there are no restraints for the cards, they just sit in the rubber cut outs. It does appear to be bullet-proof, if a bit heavy.
Excellent product
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this product after considerable online review of multiple types of media cases. This case is truly a great choice. I have not had one problem with the cards dislodging from their locations. They are in place every time I open this case. It was well worth the cost.
Excellent Case
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I use this case to store memory cards for my camera, and found it to be convenient and durable.
Good:
-Solid construction, nice “fit and finish”
-Moving parts are actual hinges, not components which flex
-removable rubber inserts
Bad:
-Yes, a little pricey, though I was disappointed by what I found in many cheaper alternatives
Empricial greatness.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Great product, deserving of the full power of 5 stars. Some people gave it less than five, but the world is full of people (luckily the minority) who don’t really “understand.” Anyone giving this less than the full five stars are probably people that need the warning labels on toasters not to take them in the bath, the bigger buttons on crosswalks, and the is surprised and enlightened by advice like “don’t drink and drive,” or “stay in school.” I personally have put 8 SD cards in this like 1 reviewer says is near impossible. I also love the thickness as I took out one of the inserts and put in 4 SD cards and then had room for a SD card reader for my netbook when I traveled. I will look forward to using this again come fair or foul weather as it really is a great Card Holder than I would stake my travel pictures. So ticket to Angkor Wat $2,000, hotels $500, food on the trip, $400 and if you stayed in school you can add that to about $2,900…of memories I brought home in this… If you can’t add those numbers up, pull your car over, sober up and go back to school, you should have stayed there.
I know Mine are Safe
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
No matter what your shooting, you need to know that your media is going to make it back safe. This card holder guarantees that it will.
I love this case. The cards stay held secure and the seal gives them unbeatable protection. I have hiked all over and I know my cards are safe no matter what the environment dishes out.
Pelican Secure Digital Memory Card Case
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ve purchased other SD memory card cases, but didn’t like them because they were so flimsy. I purchased one of these Pelican cases and have been sold on them. They are water resistant and dust resistant, too. I liked the first Pelican memory card case so much I purchased two more.
Can probably survive an atomic blast.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
===The good
Looks cool
Very well designed
Feels like it can survive a direct hit from some heavy artillery
Holds 8 SD cards
===The bad
No locking mechanism. no biggie though i guess for most people
Hard shock to case can cause it to lose the grip of the cards.
===summary
I bought 3 4g SDHC Extreme III cards recently bringing up my SD card tally to 5 cards, so i figured it was time to get a case. I looked qaround amazon and the internet for a few hours and this looked to be about the best deal on the internet. This thing is very impressivly built, it seems to be water-tight but i have not tested that. Enough room to hold 8 SD cards or 16 SD mini cards. With the newer SD cards hitting 32gb in size this should be the only case you will ever need. The cards are gripped in the rubber pads on the inside, if you hit the case hard enough you can knock the memory cards loose, but they will still be protected from the elements.
I highly reccommend this case.
Perfect!

This is a great case for keeping our sd cards secure and in one place! Very sturdy, and could hold its own if packed in a suitcase. I’d highly recommend this.
AWESOME !
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
just received this today and all i can say is THIS THING IS AWESOME ! holds my cards perfectly tight and gotta love that breaking the suction sound when i first opened it.
EXTREMELY well made with a great (almost) military feel & look to it.
my ONLY issue with it is = HEY PELICAN, MAKE ONE IN A BIGGER SIZE !
this thing is an absolute steal at $20, alot better then the multi-card case that B*** B** sells for a little less.
SOLID!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a great solid case for carrying you SD/MicroSD cards. It is a hard case with rubber insert. The latch is solid and makes the case a good durable case for media.
It has large capacity 8 SD and 16 MicroSD. Both types of cards can be stored in it at the same time with the design of this case. Excellent product.
Do you sweat? Ever lost one of those little plastic boxes?
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Liked it so much, I bought a second one. I didn’t want to discover if SD cards work after a couple of hours in the pocket of my hiking shorts. As a long time user of other Pelican products, I knew this was the solution. Last weekend, I dropped on a flooded trail, no problem. Pelican, when you really want the insides to stay dry.
Great Product but not consistent with description and image
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Case is very well constructed but the internal arrangement and accommodation of SD cards was not as described or as depicted in the photo. As noted by another reviewer, my case included internal space for 16 mini SD cards, but was arranged differently than depicted in the photo, and made no accommodation for the standard SD cards (the pictured product accommodates both types of cards). Although product number was correct (9010), it looks like manufacturer installed the incorrect rubber storage inserts in the case; it appears to be the insert intended for the model 0920 case. Unlike the other reviewer with the same problem, I did not try to re-cut the rubber inserts to hold SD cards, but rather returned the product to Amazon. Ordered a second unit (model 9010) and it came with the same incorrect inserts. Would reorder if I could be assured of the correct rubber inserts for the 0910 model. Great build quality.
UPDATE: Pelican acknowledged some assembly problems that put the wrong insert in the 0910 case. They sent me the correct replacement case. Great product.
Smart Idea
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This case is a very handy idea if you have multiple SD Cards. I was using the individual cases that the SD Card usually comes with so there was a level of protection. However, if you use these cards on a consistant basis and have multiple cards it’s easy to forget where you left them. This case holds 8 SD Cards and is a great way to protect and keep track of your cards.
Pelican Memory Case
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Once again Pelican gets it right. This case is water resistant and you can drop and even beat the hell out of it and your cards remain safe inside. If you want a memory card holder that offers more than a little cushioning, this is your case. I have several other items from Pelican (various flashlights and cases) and none of them disappoint. They are one of the few brand loyalties that I have.
