Good, but could have been better

I was looking for a basic photo viewer about this size for my wife. Her basic requirements are portability and ease of use. I ran into some trouble right away. The Photo Viewer software would not run properly on my PC (Vista 64-bit). There is very little documentation, and no online support. I tried to get a newer version of Photo Viewer online, but no dice. I finally had to load it to another PC (which meant transferring the pictures to that PC too). Photo Viewer does work, but with some quirks. The photos are not necessarily loaded in the order you choose them. My wife chuckled at some incongruous juxtapositions. On the bright side, once the pictures were loaded, it was very easy to use.
Pluses: nice pictures, light, easy to use the Photo Frame.
Minuses: Awkward transfer software, a little pricey

Purchased it for my daughter for Mother’s Day and it was fabulous!!!! Easy to use instructions were clear.
Third time is not the charm

I was enticed by the glowing reviews of this product. I have bought three and the second worked briefly. All instructions (as limited as they are coming from China) were followed to the letter. There is no customer service number to call when product issues are encountered. There is no website with a help page. As it is I have no choice than to send the item back. It sounded good but I do not recommend it as it DOES NOT WORK!
Best Purse Photo Album

I had read the reviews on this before purchasing it. There were a few bad reviews but then again I didn’t know how techno savy these people were. Although I am a 57 year old woman, I love gadgets so I decided to get this. It is WONDERFULL! I have almost all of the albums taken up with something and can’t tell you when it is full because I have so many things on it and it isn’t full yet. I am a grandmother for the first time and lost my son seven years ago, so there are so many photos I want to have close to me. A regular photo album for the purse takes up too much space even if you only have one picture. This is compact and hardly takes up any room. On three different occassions I have been asked where I got this from and I tell everyone where to get it. When I have killed this one from using it too much, I’ll just purchase another!! I LOVE IT!!

This digital photo album is a great product! I really like how it lets you save multiple folders of pictures so you can view a slideshow of a certain event instead of everything that has been loaded. It is small and light weight making it easy to have it with you all the time! The only drawback I noticed is there is no memory card slot, you have to load the pictures from the computer. It doesn’t take long and is totally worth it!

Brilliant digital photo frame

I have always wanted to have a way of showing off all of my sweet pics from vacations, sporting events, or car shows. But I hated having to lug around my camera or even worse the actual photos themselves. I looked at other digital photo frames, but they all seemed very cheap and way over priced. Then I found the OVO frame, it is very sleek and slender with a big vibrant screen that allows you to clearly view pictures under any conditions. When I got it I noticed it had a stylus like object in the back, so I pulled it out and the end was threaded. After a few seconds of looking around I found the hole it goes in and I screwed it in and just like that it now has a stand! You cant go wrong with the OVO frame, with its glossy black finish it just overall looks very professional and works with ease. It also comes with a very nice sleeve to put it in to avoid scratching. I fell in love with this product the second it came out of the box.
Great Photo Frame – Very Portable

The design is so sleek, it’s incredible. I had a large digital photo frame that I used at my desk at work, but the screen was too big and bright. It was distracting. This photo frame is small enough that I can have it on my desk, set the pictures to rotate every 30 minutes, and then take it home at the end of the day. It’s great.
On my computer, I was able to plug the frame right in without installing the software and it worked just fine. The little stand is cool too because it is designed to be stored within the frame itself.
The only drawback is that you have to load the pictures from your computer to the photo viewer; there’s no SD memory slot. Putting the pictures on the viewer was easy though.
The battery is rechargeable which is nice. It recharges through the USB connection. It took me a while to figure out when it was finished charging because when you plug it in to the USB port, the blinking battery icon on the picture viewer shows all battery bars as full. When the battery icon on the frame stops blinking, that’s when it’s fully charged.
Not as pictured

I’m not sure if this is a knock-off of the OVO photo viewer, but the item I received has the logo “Q:Electronics” on the front. The button configuration is also different from that shown in the picture. I intended to give it as a gift, but now feel I need to investigate further. On first impression, the logo is very unattractive and the buttons feel cheap. I am more concerned that the quality is not as described since the outside is close, but not quite the same. Very misleading images.

When I bought it, I thought it would be a little too small, but I’m actually very pleased with it. The screen is very bright and really fits well on my desk. Holds lots of photos, good battery life, and pretty easy to use.
It’s not perfect, but it’s not bad. The interface does take a little getting used to, but, like I said, it is pretty easy to use. Just need to figure out what buttons do what. Loading photos is a breeze too.
Garbage

We purchased this item based on the overwhelmingly good reviews but it is every bit as disappointing as I’d feared. Other reviewers say you can simply plug the device in and dump photos on it. Well, you sure can except the viewer cannot display them! You’re required to use the awful Photo Viewer software which constantly reports that the disk is full. You can’t download this software anywhere and of course there are no updates.
The only resemblance this item has to an iPhone is that it is black and rectangular. I didn’t expect ultimate quality or finish, but I did expect something that works. This unit does not.
We’ll be looking for warranty information or possibly the ability to send it back to Amazon.
Very disappointing product

I was looking forward to give my wife the album as a gift so she could show our granddaughter to friends and family; I ordered and received 2 albums. Both units worked the first time and froze up. We reset them many times but they kept freezing up. When we called support, we couldn’t get any sensible advise or information. We ended up returning the product for credit.
We are still waiting to find reliable digital albums.

I found this product to be exactly as described. It worked like a charm. Not one for reading instruction first, I had no problem with it at all. I like the feature that you can press a button and it presents a slide show. I also like that I have “file folders” for each batch of pics that I have loaded and can go to that file, pull it up and show others. I gave it four out of five starts only because I feel the screen could be as big as the album itsef and it would’ve been nice if there was a book style cover to protect the front rather than slipping it in an out of a pouch.
Not worth the effort

This item looked great and the photos were great to look at. However, each time I added photos I had to reinstall the software, and it never was able to read my memory card, which was in the correct format. I returned the item. Definitely not worth the aggravation or the price.
A Grandma’s Dream…. Come True….

Are you someone who loves to show the kids off, sporting events, trips, and the new remodel.The OVO is a great photo phrame. Grandma’s, you love to show off the grandchildren. While you are far away remember them with a click of a button, turn the photo album on and your favorite past time is there to view.
The only draw back is that the photo phrame is small. A great product
Portable Digital Photo Album

This was a mothers day present for my wife who wanted to take pictures of the grandkids wherever she went to show her friends. She really liked this item and since I also got the flash memory card with it, she has several hundred pictures that she can take with her. The pictures can always be updated quickly and she uses this instead of loading pictures directly on the Photo Album. This requires installing software, but using the card does not, just plug the card in and go. This is a new feature for the Photo Album, the older models did not have the ability to use a memory card. The memory card is an SD and the pictures can be loaded directly from the computer since the Photo Album is also an SD card reader and writer, very nice feature. When you turn it on, you have a choice of viewing pictures that are loaded into the Photo Album or viewing pictures that are on the SD card. I don’t think she will ever load pictures on the Photo Album directly since the SD card feature is so easy to use. The pictures are good quality and the ease of use is fine. The only downside I see is the battery has to be charged via a usb cable plugged into a computer that is turned on. A full charge takes 3 hours and you cannot exceed 12 hours as the instructions say damage will occur if you do. She has some trouble with this part. I am going to see if the Apple 110vac to usb device will work on this item too. This would be a great deal better for her. This is why I gave a 4 star rating over 5 stars. If there was an external 100vac way of charging the battery it would rate a full 5 starts.
