Great Photo printer! Easy to use, nice picture quality!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This a wonderful product, I like the simplicity and the quality. It has many extras like adding clipart, frames & borders, red-eye removal, cropping, brightness adjustment, an album creator, and the ability to add photo color effects like black & white, antique, sepia, and negative. The stylus makes it easy to scroll the menus and to choose your selections on the large LCD screen. It has all the ports for memory cards, USB, and Bluetooth adapter for wireless printing from your cell phone. It can print on 4×6 and 5×7 photo paper. It’s great to take on the go because it’s lightweight, compact, has a carrying handle and the screen and front door fold in. You can even purchase a battery for it for even more travel convenience. No computer required! I’ve printed tons of pics on just one ink cartridge (not on the one that is included though, it is only good for a few). The ONLY thing I wish it had is the option to print smaller pics (like two 2×3′s on one sheet of paper). Other than that, this printer has it all and I’ve throughly enjoyed using it and believe me, I have used it A LOT! It is ideal for scrapbooking, too. A great item!!!!

Slow, but High Quality Output
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I prefer the design of the Sony Portable printer, but this is faster! However, overall the printer is pretty slow and takes around a minute to print a 6X4 print. So, this is useful for printing a few pictures at a time.

The quality is really excellent and I like the fact that it is totally disconnected from a PC.

So Easy To Use!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Purchased this product for my wife because she felt printing pictures from the PC was too difficult. With the easy to follow directions included with this printer my wife was printing pictures in just minutes. The quality of the prints exceeds my high-end photo printer and the unit cost was more than reasonable.

Great Printer
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this printer to replace my Epson Photomate and I just love it. It is so much lighter than the Epson and the ability to edit the pictures is amazing.

I don’t always have the ability to put the photo on the computer, and then edit or use a photo program to create borders or add clip art. You can do all of that right here on the touch screen. I printed out a 5×7 picture with one of the borders and it looks great. This is the best little printer if you want something to carry around to scrapbooking groups or just with you when you travel so you don’t have to wait until you get home to print those pictures.

Best little printer for the money!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’m generally technically challenged. But I was able to start printing out pictures (once my husband added the printer to my laptop)in 5 minutes. I used my Adobe to edit some pics which printed well. Then I inserted my memory card and edited and added borders and doodled all over my pics just for practice without even having to ask my husband any questions. The touch screen is so easy to use. It takes you thru step by step directions. I’m a scrapper and will defintely be taking this to my scrapbook conventions. I won’t have to spend hours prior to going to my conventions printing out pictures I may or may not use.

Great Buy!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this printer! The photo color quality is GREAT, even on the HP Advanced Photo Paper. Picture print time in under 2 minutes and the picture dry instantly when using the HP Advanced Photo Paper. The touch screen and stylus are fun and easy to use. Even better are the NMEROS options to add borders, frames, text and even draw on your pics. Also, you can crop and remove red-eye right from the printer’s touch screen – no need to use your computer. Setup is GREAT: I just plugged it in, loaded the ink and paper and then put in my camera’s memory card. That’s it and I was ready to print!

But remember, the printer only comes with a SAMPLE cartridge (that allows you to print 8 pictures) and 5 pieces of HP Advanced 5×7 inch paper. So, make sure you go out and buy an HP 110 Tri-colo ink cartridge and some photo paper; I like HP’s Premium Photo paper better than the Advanced but the HP Advanced Photo paper is still pretty good.

Great little printer
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is the second HP printer I bought the first was the 8750 photosmart

it proves to be a very good printer one that uses only three ink cartriges. The A626 is providing some very nice pictures with options letting you type a caption from the printer. I recommend this printer to anyone who likes to have the ability to print from your memory card.

Great Fun! – See Update
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Love the printer – so much better than the Photosmart 375 I have. My only complaint is that some photos looked great on the screen and printed darker than they appeared. Also – if you scroll through the pictures too fast it can lock up. I almost bought the Epson Picturemate because they have some pretty cool Disney Frames but this one does so much more. The stylus pen is so much fun and I love the touch screen. I bought the A627 model at Best Buy for $129. not sure what the difference is compared to the A626. I also bought the case for it @ a great price of $10. also @ Best Buy and it’s awesome. I’ve ordered the rechargable battery for $30. here on Amazon and can’t wait for it to come. If you’ve ever used the digital printer at Walgreens – this does everything that does in the comfort of your home. The value pack (of ink and 120 photo paper) costs about $35. (at Best Buy), which I believe is reasonable for the convenience and all the customizations you can do. Very easy to use – Love It!!!

Update – After about a hundred photos my printer started acting up. The part that dissapponts me the most is that everytime I try to print an album (my favorite feature) the photos print with lines running through them. It also started just shutting down for no reason, very frustrating.

As far as the reviewer that only got 20 photos – I did buy an inkpack here on Amazon that only gave me 40 photos but normally I get 100 photos per pack. I have a 7.2 megapixel camera – not sure if his camera is 10 or 12 pixels – maybe that makes a difference – not sure.

Fun Fun Fun Home Printer
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
When I researched this printer online I read many average reviews. I went down to the store and took a look at it in person. It looked fun and super compact in size. The store gave me a really cool HP luggage style bag for free. (This bag holds everything in it. Printer, cords, extra ink, photo paper. It looks cool too. It is perfect to take to a party and give people instant memories to take home with them.) The ink cartridges are $20 and the Advanced Photo paper was on sale. 100 4×6 sheets for $7.99. I couldn’t resist. I got home and powered it up. What a nice printer. The ability to print 5×7 prints comes in handy for group/family photos where the larger size really brings out the faces. I love the white border setting that makes the prints look classic and the antique photo preset gives them a hand-colored classic feel. I don’t know what scientists they have in these other review labs. I am not a scientist. I am a photographer and this printer gives you nice prints easily and inexpensively in the convenience of your own home. The intangible: It is very fun to use. Something these lab dudes didn’t learn in chemistry class. In my opinion this printer is excellent.

HP Photosmart not what I was hoping for
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I was excited to get this so I could finally print out all the photos I have on digital camera, but after using this, I find that I prefer leaving them on my digital camera.

I used it for a few weeks, before I put it away for good, frustrated with how muddled the colors looked. I did get a few good pictures out of it, but overall I’d say 2 out of 10 were good, even if it was the same picture. The ink doesn’t seem to last long, maybe 20 pictures, and the colors run darker than they probably should.

I’m not the greatest picture taker, but have had better luck printing photos on a full printer than on this item. I think I would use this more if the cartridges would last longer, and they weren’t so expensive to replace.

Printer instructions hard for me to understand
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I was excited about getting this printer, but was soon disappointed with its functions. It did not perform as I expected to do. The instructions were difficult for me to understand. I still have not printed a 5X7 print yet. I am back to using my standard Canon printer.

Excellent
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I only wanted a photo printer, that I could hook up to my Mac, and what I got with this little device is so much more.

The setup was easy, and the quality of the pictures is great (much better than the photo printer at my local pharmacy store or Wal Mart). And then you get all the extra features (photo editing, touch screen etc.).

There are plenty of hook ups for all flash card formats and flash drives.

The only complaint I have : There was no USB cable included. If you are planning to use this printer with your computer, don’t forget to order the USB2 cable as well !

Printer Perfect
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This printer is ideal for us as we are traveling about the country in an RV and making loads of pictures at historic sites. The photos are sharp, clear and editable right off the camera card in the printer meaning no computer is necessary. The prints are also instantly dry, another bonus!
